This 8-week highly experiential and evidence-based program was founded by Jon Kabat Zinn in 1979 at the University of Massachusetts. This psycho-educational class helps participants cultivate a different relationship with stress resulting from chronic physical and psychological illness; helping to better navigate through life’s inevitable challenges. MBSR incorporates a significant component of mindfulness practice which forms the centerpiece of the MBSR program.
MBSR is a highly structured, eight-week, evidence-based program that offers secular, intensive mindfulness training to assist people with a host of stress-related physical, emotional and psychological conditions.
