Yoga, Meditation and More… for Teens

This 90-minute class allows teens to experience first-hand the powerful benefits of mindfulness. Here, they will learn about healthy coping strategies, stress management skills, tools for emotional regulation, the importance of offering themselves self-kindness and compassion, and the ability to bring peacefulness and happiness into their lives. All movement and meditation practices are designed to meet the development needs and unique stressors of this age group. Teens participating in Yoga, Meditation and More will be involved in:

20 minutes of guided meditation
50 minutes of mindful movement or yoga
20 minutes of group discussion

Yoga and Meditation for Adults (Zoom)

This 60 minute virtual class incorporates 40 minutes of mindful movement/yoga followed by 20 minutes of sitting or lying down meditation, with the option to stay for an additional 15 minute silent meditation.

It is appropriate for adults who have either participated in an MBSR – Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Class or have some prior experience with meditation and yoga.
